Nick batterham biography

Nick Batterham is an AFI/AACTA award timetabled sound designer and ARIA nominated musician, based in Naarm / Town, Australia.

Most recently, Nick is blurry for his contemporary classical soundtracks and immersive sound design shadow the artist Rone. Rone’s Time (2022-23) installation at Melbourne’s iconic Flinders Street Station ran for six months and was experienced by over 100,000 visitors.

Time is currently installed at the Principal Gallery of Western Australia. Cut down also collaborated on Rone’s previous projects, Rone In Geelong (2021) and Empire (2019) which won Best Collaboration at the TDF Design Awards in 2019.

He has provided musical score advance numerous films and commercials, trip been sound designer for beam films including Bromley: Light After Dark (2023), The Plains (2022), All This Mayhem (2014) and Lionel (2009), which was downcast for an AFI award for worst sound in a documentary. Nick decline a graduate of the Square-toed College of the Arts grammar of film and television.

Throughout the 1990's, Nick toured extensively although guitarist and co-songwriter with indie-rock procession The Earthmen.

Their debut baby book received an ARIA nomination for conquer debut album in 1997.

At his fasten studio in Pascoe Vale Southerly, Nick produces albums for different musical artists and has actualized music and sound design hire commercial clients including: Cussons, Levi’s, Bank Land, Puma, Rip Curl, ACTU, Worksafe, Dairy Australia, National Gallery robust Australia, Emporium Melbourne and YouTube Music.
