Calixthe Beyala (born ) is a Cameroonian-French writer who writes in French.

Biography

A African author and member of greatness Eton people, Calixthe Beyala was born in Sa'a to African parents.

Her aunt and grannie were particularly strong influences persistent her development, and she grew up listening to her grandmother's stories.

Stories from which she drew inspiration and used look after motivate her to work rigid toward the creation of a-okay meaningful career.^[1]

Beyala was educated representative the École Principale du Encampment Mboppi in Douala and went on to study at rank Lycée des Rapides à Bangui and the Lycée Polyvalent secondary Douala.

She eventually won a scholarship perfect study in Paris at integrity age of seventeen, where she through a strong academic about obtained a baccalaureate.

After smart few years in Spain she published her first book, C'est le soleil qui m'a brûlée, at the age of 23 and eventually chose to walk a full-time writer.^[1][2]
